About single person phone booth FAQs
A typical single person phone booth occupies approximately 1.0–1.2 m² of floor space externally. Plan for additional clearance for door swing and access. Our PE, PC, and PR series all fit within this range, with exact dimensions listed in the specifications table above.
Our phone booths achieve 30dB+ speech-level reduction, verified through ISO 23351-1 testing. In practice, a normal conversation inside the booth is reduced to whisper level outside. Someone sitting immediately next to the booth cannot understand the content of your call.
No enclosure is completely soundproof. Our phone booths are designed for speech-level noise reduction — they block the sound of normal conversation from escaping or entering. For highly confidential discussions (legal, HR, medical), we recommend a fully enclosed meeting room rather than relying on a phone booth alone.
Each booth is equipped with an integrated ventilation system that delivers continuous airflow. CO₂ builds up rapidly in a 2m³ space with one person, so ventilation is essential. Our system operates at under 35dB — you stay comfortable without hearing the fan. Ventilation activates automatically via motion sensor when you enter.
Prpdec phone booths plug into a standard wall socket (110V or 230V depending on your region). All internal wiring for lighting, ventilation, and power outlets is pre-installed at the factory. Installation takes under an hour with basic tools — no construction, no dust, no disruption.
Prpdec phone booths are designed for relocation. With the optional mobility kit, the booth can be moved without disassembly. For larger configurations or relocation through narrow doorways, partial disassembly may be required.
